We were planning on eating elsewhere, but the other place
was rather crowded looking so we came here instead which wasn’t very busy. We
were greeted and seated right away and drink orders were taken soon after and
then our dinner orders not long after that. I ordered the Kung pao chicken for 8.75.
Mom ordered the orange chicken combo for 10.25 that came with fried rice, an
egg roll, cheese puffs, lo mein and soup. Dad ordered the mongolian beef for 9.25.
These were all served individually on
each plate and not family style.
I liked my Kung pao chicken quite a bit. The chicken with
some veggies and peanuts was all combined with a tasty sauce. But I think it
was the worst of the three entrées.
Dad really enjoyed his Mongolian beef and what I tried of it
was absolutely delicious.
But I think the orange chicken was even better! This was
nice and crispy and had a bit of a sweet and a bit of spicy to it.
Mom really enjoyed her meal combo but it was too much food
for her to eat. I happily ate a few more pieces of her orange chicken although
I couldn’t eat all my meal either. Once we were done eating what we could we
finished up with our fortune cookies.
