Su Casa café -Sinclair Wyoming

August 15, 2018

My parents and I were driving to Ogden, Utah and we had a tip from my cardiologist that this place was good so we decided to stop here at Su Casa café.  We were here about 1 o’clock or so and the place was absolutely packed and we had to wait probably about 45 minutes. When we finally had a table it was a huge round table for eight for just the three of us.  There were two tables and the rest were booths which I couldn’t use.

After we were seated they brought chips and salsa. The salsa was pretty good but a bit different.  It was served warm and it had the normal tomatoes and peppers, but I also think there was a bit of shredded meat and/or cheese maybe in it.

Soon after mom ordered the stuffed sopapilla with chicken I think. Dad and I both got the House Burrito. Not long after that our waitress brought my mom’s stuffed sopapilla out.  She thought this was pretty good and enjoyed it quite a bit. a few minutes later our waitress brought out the burritos and she tripped on the way and ended up spilling some of the chili on me, it was a bit warm but not as hot as I would’ve expected it to be, our waitress apologized multiple times and anyways I survived and started in on my burrito.

This Burrito was basically a chimichanga with beef and beans inside. This was nice and crispy and was topped with a really good green chili. The green chili included good sized chunks of pork and potatoes which I thought was a bit different but seems like a really good idea. Their menu was basically a la carte so the plates came with no sides. This was okay for me on this day. After this we were on our way happy as could be.
