Lucky slice pizza – Ogden Utah

August 18, 2018

This place is an old corner building and not very wheelchair friendly. We went in the crowded place and ordered a large pepperoni pizza and three drinks. Then we picked a table that was right next to an actual hole in the wall.

Soon when our pizza was delivered we were ready to eat. It was a nice thin crust pizza and not so tough and chewy like a lot of places. It was also topped with rather large pepperonis. This place was excellent, we had a great pizza and I would definitely return.

Doolittle‘s Deli – Ogden Utah

August 17, 2018

This was in an airport area so there was some airplane displays. This was a counter place with one table inside and some outside, but later we found an area around the corner inside with more tables.

 I ordered a club sandwich,

mom ordered a turkey avocado sandwich

and Dad got a Reuben sandwich with onion rings.  The sandwiches were huge and I should’ve got the half version. For my club sandwich I picked sourdough bread and I really enjoyed the whole sandwich which included ham, turkey, bacon and veggie toppings. Mom and dad also very much enjoyed their sandwiches. Also included was a cookie. This was also very good. We had a very good and successful lunch at Doolittle‘s Deli and would definitely want to return.

New Sun Restaurant - Ogden Utah

August 16, 2018

This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel so we walked over.  We went in the front door but I think the back was more of their main entrance and this was about 7 o’clock. It was mostly empty inside but a few more people came in while we were there. So we were seated right away and took a look at the menu. I decided on the cashew chicken, mom had the basil chicken and dad had the Yakisoba noodles.

These all came with soup and we all picked egg drop soup. Soon the soup was brought out it was okay but not really great. Soon after our entrées arrived.

I thought the cashew chicken was pretty good. It had a good flavor and the meat and veggies were pretty good, but I didn’t really like the pineapple. This was served with regular white rice.

Mom had the basil chicken and liked it but said she’s had better elsewhere.

Yakisoba noodles were a new thing for dad, he thought it was all right. I thought the food was pretty good and they serve plenty of it and I would consider returning.
