2020 was a very strange year, but I was still able to find some good food!  Here are my favorites from this past year!

Best of Ryan’s Good Eats: #1 Lockhart, TX barbecue

 Black’s Barbecue – Lockhart, TX

One of the best places I’ve ever been.  We had Turkey and brisket which are both excellent.

Kreuz Market – Lockhart, TX

Excellent barbecue.  They had large smokers that you could see what they were smoking.   We had Turkey, brisket and sausage which came with white bread.  Inside was really smoky.

Omaha Steaks Individual Cheesecake Sampler

 4 (4 oz.) cakes $14.99 total

 

This contained 4 different individual cheesecakes. 1 New York Cheesecake, 1 Cherry Pie Cheesecake, 1 Nutella Cheesecake and 1 Almond Cheesecake

I tried all 4 and they were all good.  My favorite was the New York Cheesecake, sometimes simple is better.  My least favorite was the Cherry Pie Cheesecake. These were good, but I don’t think I’ll order them again.

These were really good and big 7oz cookies.  They are High fat I’m sure, with good quality ingredients including butter and sugar. I would definitely order these again.

Best of Ryan’s Good Eats: #2 Tecolote Cafe– Santa Fe, NM

 

This place was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives.  We’ve been to the old and new location.    I had a Christmas burrito (red and green chili). The meal also came with a bakery basket including cinnamon rolls, muffins and biscuits.

Stonewall Kitchen Cheddar Asiago Bites

 

These were really good hard and crunchy bites with a lot of cheese flavor.  They were really good in soups and also really good as a snack.
