July 23 and July 26 2019
Our first stop here was for breakfast which was probably
more at lunch time. When we arrived it
wasn’t very crowded so we were seated pretty quickly. Eventually we were ready to order. Mom and I both ordered the green eggs and ham
and dad had the pig breakfast.
The green eggs and ham was basically eggs
benedict but had a biscuit instead of an English muffin and also had ham,
tomato, poached eggs and was topped with green chili hollandaise sauce.
I thought the sauce
was really good but was a bit salty. The
whole thing went together well including the tomato. The fried potatoes that
came with this I didn’t care for because of the rosemary on them.
With Dad’s pig breakfast he picked scrambled
eggs and sausage it also came with potatoes and toast. Dad really liked his
breakfast and especially liked the sausage.
Our breakfasts were about $10.00 so it was a decent value for a good
breakfast and our waiter was nice and made sure we had everything we
needed.
A couple days later we decided to go back for dinner.
This time mom still wanted breakfast and had biscuits
and gravy and dad had the pig breakfast again.
I wasn’t really hungry so I just got some fried green tomatoes. It was cornmeal breaded fried green tomatoes
which I thought were really good and were even better dipped in the sriracha
aioli.
