Chandler ostrich Festival – Chandler AZ

Once we found the food area there were so many choices including barbecue on a stick, fried items and just about everything you can imagine but eventually we found the ostrich burger stand. 

 

I ordered mine with cheese and it also came with grilled onions and pickles. They had condiments out on the table in front of the stand but I thought I should try it without. We found a nice grassy area next to the stand to eat. The burger was kind of like red meat like a regular beef burger, but there was a rather odd taste to it and I wasn't so sure if I liked it.  My dad ended up eating the other half.

Maryvale Baseball Park - Phoenix, Arizona

Maryvale Baseball Park is the Spring Training home of the Milwaukee Brewers.  

 

 I got a hotdog which was a standard hotdog with mustard and I had to get sauerkraut since it was a Brewers game. 

Mom got a barbecue chicken sandwich and she got the cheese curds that came in a mini Brewers helmet I sampled and actually ate quite a few of them and they were very excellent!

Bella Gusto Urban Pizzeria - Chandler Arizona

March 9, 2018. 

We had an early dinner here after we walked around Veterans Oasis Park which is also in Chandler. Right when we walked in the door first thing he noticed was their red pizza oven which was and hard to miss.  The table they sat us at was too low for me to get under with my wheelchair but we were moved to another table that worked better.  Shortly after this our waitress came. We were not extremely hungry.  Our waitress said the pizzas were 12 inch pizzas. So we decided to get a Mary Margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza to share. After we waited for not too long, since the pizzas cooked so quickly, our pizzas were delivered.  I really liked the sauce and the cheese on both pizzas and the black specs on the crust was good.  

 

 I really liked the margarita pizza especially the slices with basil.   

The  pepperoni was similar but with pepperoni instead of the basil. The pepperoni was actually Spicy Soppressata and was actually pretty spicy.  After we were done they brought us a desert sample which I can’t remember what it was but it was good.  As we were eating our early dinner they were prepping the place for the live music that they have on Friday nights. We left very happy with our dinner at Bella Gusto and definitely want to return.
