Ada’s Fish Fry - Goodyear, AZ

March 12, 2018

We had an early dinner here after a hike and the place was completely empty. We were seated right away and after a bit of a look at the menu

I decided to get the special fish fry for $9.99 which is the smaller version of the haddock fish fry so it just had one piece of fish instead of two.

Dad had the fish and shrimp combo for $13.15

and Mom had the fish and scallops combo for $16.75.  These meals came with coleslaw and french fries and mom upgraded to onion rings for two dollars. We waited a bit and our food was delivered on paper plates covered in checkerboard paper. The plates also included tartar sauce and a fry sauce type thing.

The fish was good fish that was nicely breaded and hot, so I had to wait awhile before I could eat it.  This was some excellent fish. The fries were pretty good too and I liked the fry sauce and even the coleslaw was decent. The onion rings were also excellent.

Once we were done eating our waitress dropped off our check which was in a Dr. Seuss One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish book. Which I guess was a nice way to end a great meal.
