Taco Tuesday: Del Real Foods Taco Night Bundle

Del Real Foods Taco Night Bundle

On Cyber Monday I saw an ad on Facebook for Del Real Foods.  Their Cyber Monday special was free shipping.  I ordered the Taco Night Bundle for $55.94.  A few days later the bundle including a nice taco Tuesday bag arrived.

The Bundle included 4  15oz heat and serve packages of different meats and 2 Salsas

Chicken Breast in Enchilada Sauce

The chicken was shredded chicken in a basic mild red sauce this was good, but nothing great.

Carnitas

I really liked the carnitas.  it was basically pulled pork that was not overly seasoned but was simple and made really good tacos

Chicken Al Pastor

The recipe on back said to add canned diced pineapple.  This was really good and my favorite. The sauce/marinade was very good and a tad bit spicy but was great with the bit of sweet from the pineapple.  This Went well with pico de gallo and guacamole from whole foods.

Chile Verde

This was pork with chile verde sauce.  We thought it was good especially topped with Cotija cheese from Whole Foods.

SALSA DE MOLCAJETE ROJA

This salsa was so hot, one bite was enough to find that out.  We had to get the jar of pace salsa out.

SALSA DE MOLCAJETE VERDE

After trying the red salsa, we didn’t even bother trying this one.

I thought the Taco Night bundle from Del Real Foods was very good and a pretty good value.  I thought everything was either good or really good except for the salsa being too hot for me.  I am looking forward to having more of the Carnitas and Al Pastor and trying some of their other products!
