One of our favorite Mexican restaurants. I had pretty much a perfect combo plate with a chile relleno, a cheese enchilada and a burrito.

Big Mama's Kitchen & Catering – Omaha, NE  FULL REVIEW

Was featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives where Big Mama made pig ear sandwiches.  When we visited they were in an old school cafeteria but have since moved. We were able to meet Big Mama and chat for a while. Unfortunately Big Mama passed away a couple years after we vested.

Juan Pablo's Mexican Grill – Ogden UT

When we arrived there was not much going on.  We checked out the menu on the wall and the man at the counter pointed out the specials as well.  Dad and I both ordered the 2 enchilada plate 1 beef and 1 cheese.  Mom ordered the chile relleno special. We filled our own drinks and picked a table. Then a basket of chips for each of us was delivered.   

Then we checked out the salsa bar that contained 8-10 salsas and sauces.  The red one which a basic salsa was my favorite. I also enjoyed the chipotle cream and the avocado salsas. I also enjoyed sampling all the different salsas.   

 

The enchiladas were good and had a mole tasting sauce and with rice and beans. 

Mom also enjoyed her chile relleno.  This was a good priced lunch and good sized lunch.  We also received friendly helpful service. If in the area I would definitely return.
